I’ve just come back from a wonderful evening stroll along Henley Beach. It was a gorgeous evening, not too hot and not too cold, and I was treated to a spectacular sunset across the sea.
At the moment I am lucky enough to be traveling across Australia by train (the Ghan), and this morning we stopped at Alice Springs, and I was delighted to see they were setting up for the annual ‘Henley-on-Todd’ regatta. My only disappointment was I couldn’t stay around to watch the ‘rowing’.

On the way back down through the Festival site, at the end of the evening, to go and see a band in the far tent, I encountered a ‘tunnel of light’…

As part of Henley Arts Festival there is always a great fireworks display, and this year was no exception.

Henley Arts Festival ran from Wednesday 11th July to Sunday 15th July 2007. I went on the Saturday night.
